A specialty within osteopathy, pediatric osteopathy<\/strong> focuses on the care of infants, babies, and children up to approximately 12 years old<\/strong>. Beyond this age, osteopathic care is considered general osteopathy.<\/span><\/p>\n

Your osteopath will perform a comprehensive assessment<\/strong> using specific pediatric tests. Different systems and functions will be evaluated, including feeding and sucking patterns, muscle tone, reflexes, digestion, motor development, and the shape of your child’s head.<\/span><\/p>\n

Osteopathic care can address a variety of concerns, including torticollis, plagiocephaly (flat head syndrome), breastfeeding and sucking difficulties, digestive issues (reflux, colic, abdominal discomfort), as well as unexplained crying.
